How to tell
I saw an Ithaca Featherweight 12 ga.
pump shotty at one of my stops yesterday. The owner said that he thought that it might be a Viet-Nam era Navy Purchase piece. Wood and dark park finish were in great shape. It appeared to be mechanically tight/sound. How does one tell if it was a Navy purchase in it's previous life.

Post this down on Harley's Forum, those guys can tell whether it was made on a Monday or Tuesday.
Whether or not this is a Navy/Nam shotgun, it's a great piece. Unless the owner wants arm/leg, get it.... |
