Advice on Where to Mount Sling Swivels

The front swivel position is rather obvious, but I am undecided on whether to go traditional bottom of buttstock or side of buttstock for the rear. The gun is a sporterized Swedish Mauser. Is there an advantage/disadvantage to side mounting? I guess it just appeals to me because its different and some military bolt actions come that way. Opinions welcomed.

Side mounted should be more comfortable to carry, but the bottom mount seems better if you use the sling for shooting.

Regards.
