9mm Largo Conversion
Nonte's book had sugested a bushing to fill the chamber for heads spacing to convert 9mm largo guns to 9mm Luger. Does anyone make these bushings, or no where I can get one.
I want to conver a Spanish destroyer carbine as the ammo is getting hard to get at time around here and it would just make it hander. Thank you

Friend of mine cut an appropriate sized ring from a case mouth, ceaned and degreased the chamber and ring.......placed ring over a ball 9X19 round, put a dab of locktite on the ring, chambered round. Has been workin fine for quite a while now.

I did a couple, but made steel rings, which is not a hard job on a lathe. Worked fine.
To do the job right, you have to run a 9mm chambering reamer in as the Largo is a straight case and 9mm is tapered. The 9mm may wedge in the chamber, but will not headspace right, otherwise. Jim |

Thanks Guys...I was thinking the same hing about trim a case or using even a steel wolf ammo case to make the bushing. ..I'll look up Nonte'sarticle as he talks about a home made reamer also for the job...
Again..Thank you.

My friend used steel Wolf case for ring material. Forgot that point, sorry.
