S.W.F.A., Inc. - New Product Announcement

With the new year comes all the new product debuts and this year there are some amazing new products.

First and foremost is the hot news from Leica. An all new laser range-finder that ranges further than the famed Geovid and is the same size as the existing 800 yard model. The new 1200 yard model will sell for $468.95 at RifleScopes.com and be available around April. Order one today on line and get in line. SWFA will ship on a first come first serve basis.

Leica is also announcing a new binocular that is guaranteed to make you sell or trade your old binoculars regardless of what you have now. The new Duovid is a multiple magnification binocular. This design is a total new concept never seen before. The Leica 8+12x42 binocular gives you two powers in one binocular. A quick turn of rings at the eye piece changes the Duovids power from 8x to 12x. It also has removable eye cups for cleaning. Imagine having one binocular that does it all. You don't even have to re-focus when you switch powers. This is not a zoom binocular and is the biggest development in binoculars in recent history. Delivery will start in March. Get in line now, we are taking pre-orders at $1394.95. Shawn Farris of SWFA has already been fortunate enough to use the new Duovid on a hunt early this year. His feelings on them are bitter/sweet because he knows first hand that the Duovid will make just about every other glass obsolete. Remember, we do take trade-ins.

For any one that has packed a Leica spotter on a hunt you will appreciate the new 62mm spotting scope. It is lighter and smaller but still has all the features of its big brother the 77mm Televid.

Zeiss will also be debuting an all new spotting scope line named Diascope 65 and Diascope 85. A 15-45x65 and a 20-60x85. Both spotters use the same glass as the renowned Victory binoculars and VMV riflescopes. The Diascope 65 weighs only 38.8 ozs making it one of the lightest high end spotters made. Available in the Spring.

Zeiss is also adding a 6.5-20x50 to its wildly successful Conquest line of rifle scopes. It will be available in silver or matte and features a side focus parallax adjust. We will be selling them for $799.95. That's the good news, the bad news is they won't be here until the fall.

Swarovski is also announcing a new spotter line in the 65mm class. Rubber armoring sets it apart from the new offerings of Zeiss and Leica. If you pack a spotter you will have some serious new choices this year. SWFA will be the first to offer all the new spotters and put them to the test.

Leupold has pretty much already launched all their new products which include the new 1-3 CQ/T Mark 4 scope and the two new scope lines VX-I and VX-II. Other changes include the VariX-II line being discontinued last fall. SWFA has all the new products on the shelf and ready to ship right now.

Schmidt and Bender is also announcing an all new scope line named Zenith. The new scope is a 2.5-10x56 with modern styling and new ergonomic design. The amazing part is the scope is only 13 inches long, that is a full 1.75 inches shorter than the competition. In fact it is the shortest 56mm scope on the market. The new Zenith will be available in two models, illuminated and standard.
Could be the ultimate low light scope for your light weight rifle.

Nikon will be launching a few scope models with an illuminated reticle. A 3.5-10x50 and 6.5-20x44 with 5 brightness settings and switchable from green or red. Illuminated reticles are becoming increasingly popular and now you will have a few more options in the upper end of the scale. The 6.5-20 is sure to be a hit with the Varmint crowd.

Burris is adding many new scopes to their line up, including a new Black Diamond with the T-Plate coatings. Available in 2.5-10x50 and 4-16x50. A new 4-16x50 is also added to the Mr.T Titanium scope line. The big news is the new Signature Safari 1.75-5 with its all new optical system and long eye relief. Should be a big hit with dangerous game hunters. An new 6x32 HBR II scope will be added to the FUllfield II line and man is it a good looking scope. Good news for hand gun shooters. Burris is now offering its Ballistic Plex in the 2-7 and 3-12 hand gun scopes.

Biggest news from Bushnell is the new 10x40 Tactical scope. It will be under the Elite 3200 platform with a 1" tube, oversized target knobs, matte finish and a mil-dot reticle make this scope a sure winner.

Pentax adds to its new Whitetail Unlimited line with a new 3-9x50 and a 6.5-20x50. Often over looked scope line that you should be looking into.

Redfield resurrects the Aurora Catadioptic 30x, 7", 13 oz. spotter. It is the smallest, lightest spotter made. Look for a new roof prism binocular line too that is water-proof. They add to the scope line by offering the all new Precision Illuminator long range scopes. It will be a single model (6.5-20x50) available in three finishes with target knobs.

Simmons updates the Pro-Hunter line with the new Pro-Hunter SE models. Big news in their binoculars with the new Aespherical, Bak4 roof prism Expedition line. Also look for a high powered line up of new Endeaver binoculars and spotters.

Steiner offers some new additions to the successful Predator line up of binoculars. The models include a 8x32, 10x30 and 12x30.

Weaver will be expanding the Grand Slam binoculars to include two new phase coated, roof prism compacts. 8.5x25 and 10.5x25. Weighing only 14.8 ozs. they will be a welcome addition to your shirt pocket.

Trijicon will be debuting the all new Tri-Power Tactical sight this spring. The unit is powered by batteries, tritium and fiber optics to make sure you always have an illuminated reticle no matter what the conditions. Also a new 5.5x ACOG that is due to ship soon.

This year will be very exciting as far as new innovative products. This update on new products only scratches the surface. Check our web page www.RifleScopes.com often for new listings and announcements as they become available.

Thanks for your time,

Tasco SS10x42

Chris,

I bought one of the Tascos from your company last year for my Remington 700 .270. It's a great scope for those of us who don't want to jump for the Leupold. Thanks to KMart getting out of the firearms business, the rifle cost about 1/2 of what the scope cost. With only slight adjustments, it works great on my Fulton-Armory M14S (Polytech).

Those of you looking for a great deal, you should check the review of this scope at SniperCountry.com.
