Well, I did my part to stimulate the economy...Howa 1500 300wm
So, as usual with me, I research after the money is gone. Are they ok guns?. I've searched here, and haven't seen anything negative. But, I am speaking directly on the 1500 in 300 win-mag.
This is a rifle caliber I have always wanted, and never bought. I sold my 30-06, a while back, and swore it off forever.(never shot it). Someday I plan on going Elk hunting, and this was the caliber I have decided on. Here is the reason I bought it. While cruising Buds website I noticed they had one Black/synthetic, with 3x9x42 for $387...BRAND NEW! That's cheaper than any package gun from wally-world. So, I bought it. So, really, just how good are these Howas? And this may have been the purchase, that saves the economy
