It's time to get a couple of new shotguns, has anyone played with the Franchi 612 sporting or Alcione o/u?? My local dealer wants $1000 for either one. What are the going prices you are seeing in your area?? I'd really love a browning feather light citori but I can get both of these guns for the brownings price.

thanks in advance.

Hi Idaho,
I have a Franchi.. but Sorry mine is the security model 18" semi, got it for $349.00 +tax on sale in one of our local retail store .
So far I have a 1000 rounds on it and functions flawlessly without hiccups ;) . Recoil is very minimal and rapid firing is very fun :)

Some of the Geezer League have Franchi autos, and they tell me they're reliable and effective. One lady of my acquaintance loves her 20 ga Franchi humpback, and has used it to good effect(and plenty of shooting) for maybe 8 years,IIRC.

If you like them, Idaho, buy them. Negative input on the Franchis is scarce around here....
