Any recommendations for an H&K Tactical .45 holster

Could anyone give me a few holster recommendations
for an H&K Tactical .45 acp . Preferably
not a thigh strap swat team open carry rig.
I will take delivery of my new piece on Wednesday!!
I can hardly wait.

I've been very happy with Kydex holsters for my guns. I would check with Mad Dog to see if he makes one for that model. I know he does for other H&K's. If not check with Bladetech.

Check out Frank Spezzano's CEN-DEX Kydex holsters the "Talon" & "Storm" @ http://www.cen-dex.com Frank's work is easily equal to the Kydex standard, Mad Dog's "Gun Glove" holsters. FWIW Mad Dog does not list the "Tactical" on their chart. http://www.mdenterprise.com/holsters.htm

Those Cen-Dex holsters look exactly like Mad Dog rigs to me. What's the deal?

Frank, I believe, worked at, or with, Mad Dogs Holster "side" at one time.

This is the question that we should be asking you before we tell you what you should buy. It is obvious that you would prefer to not have a drop leg holster, but what kinds of configurations have you seen that you did like (belt, IWB, OWB, shoulder, duty). What materials have you seen for it that you liked. There is kydex, nylon, or leather, etc.

After you decide what you want and how it will work for you, then lok at models that fit your needs. I am not going to spout about the models that I sell when I don't know what you need, it wouldn't be the best way to help you.

Good luck with your new pistol. I know I would like to have one of those. I always get happy when I get a new gun.
