Nice relaxing day at the range...only one on the pistol range and only a couple more on the rifle side. Spent the morning trying to acclimate the wife to shooting (post traumatic father issues)...she's not an anti or anything, just leery of them. After getting a couple cylinders downrange, she mustered up the courage to sneak up behind me for a pic.

Didn't want to get her too weary, so we only spent about an hour there before leaving. The target was 65 feet away and I fired 24 rounds...all in the nines and tens...Got an informal grudge match against a friend next weekend and wanted to get my practice in. He's got an auto-loading S&W that can actually hit a target benched at 50 yards all day long....I told him I could beat him standing from 65'

Any day shootin' is a good day! :D My wife doesn't care for my revolvers too much, she'll just sit and watch. But she likes to load the Renegade. Not shoot it, just load it. :)

The wife and daughter will accompany me to the club/range on Father's Day. They ask what I want -- let's shoot a little I remark -- saves money on a gift for them.
While they don't really "approve" of my gun habit, they enjoy shooting the 22's and the black powder rifles.

It works!

I took my wife to the range last Fri so she could try out her new 58 Remmy. She loves it so much, I had to order her a .51 Navy from Cabelas when we got home, lol!
