What is a staked bayonet on an m44? Could some on post a picture with either variation?

The bayonet pivot screw is staked in place. Is that what you're referencing? As far as I know all M44 bayonets are the cruciform spike design.

The bayonet is shaped like a stake. It does not have an edge like a knife, it is just very pointy. The end looks like a small flat screw driver. Its just for stabbing, not for cutting like most bayonets also do.

I am refering to how the bayonet is attached to the rifle itself.
