Just curious, really... I'd like to know the reason behind this change.

It's not a change. It's always been that way. Perhaps you're thinking of another Board? Allowing Members to delete posts creates specific problems. If you need to edit everything out of a post this can be done. As for submitting a post and deleting it later: Think Twice, Post Once ;)

...Then why is it listed as one of the changes (I'm lookin at the list of Forum Rules at the top of this page as I reply...)?
...As for the "Think Twice"-part: You guys really think that I think at all with the amount of time I spend in front of one of these boxes at school and at home... :p C'mon guys, you're asking too much! :D

They aren't changes as in stuff changed from the previous software, they are rules concerning changes :p

Is there something in the Forum Rules that says Members may delete their posts?
I'm lost.

Nope, Just the following.
Changes: Messages can be edited by their author. Messages can not be deleted by their author. (Think Twice; Post Once)
I think tony.s confused this for changes made to the forums.
