Rangemaster Combative Pistol Course, taught by Tom Givens
April 16-17, 2011 Florence, SC
This is an intensive two-day course that covers all of the essential skills involved in fighting with a handgun.
Topics covered in this course will include:
• Rapid presentation from concealed carry
• Effective gun handling techniques, designed to work under stress
• Rapid reloading techniques
• Fast, accurate shooting at close ranges
• Precision shooting at mid-ranges
• Effective scanning techniques for locating additional threats
• Proper defensive mindset
• Proven personal tactics, and more
This course is designed specifically for the legally armed citizen with a concealed handgun, or the off-duty or plainclothes police officer.
You will need a good handgun, holster, belt, and magazine pouch, at least three magazines, a ball cap, concealment garment (vest, jacket, windbreaker, etc), eye/ear protection, and rain gear (we train rain or shine). A cooler with soft drinks and snacks is a very good idea. Expect to fire roughly 1,000 rounds of ammunition in the course of two days.
