http://www.novatac.com/products.html the strobes on these are simply amazing. i've never seen anything like them. if you have a pro deal then you can pick one of these up for 50% off. you're gonna have to buy the mount and light separately. as far as a laser.... surefire's your best bet but they're not gonna have strobing lights

Do they have ones that can be mounted on a Glock 19?

Does it have a strobbing light?

A strobbing light? No...Its a simple high intensity beam, on and off. Plus a laser sight of course. The GTL-22 has a dimmer though you can dim the lights intensity with your finger while you still have it in firing position..

With the GTL series, its shock proof, water proof, etc..Its tough, it can be banged around, dropped and can adjust to conditions (temp, weather, etc) So thats why i went with it. It also fits perfectly and locks into place, with no movement or play in it what so ever, once its set in place..

Why are you so set on a strobe?

Because a strobbing light is very disorienting to the person it's aimed at.

I think that is perfect for a HD situation.

I want the bad guy as disoriented as possible.

I saw it demonstrated on "Personal Defense" on the Sportsman's Channel.

That is good and all but I make sure you don't get disoriented from the flashing lights. I would want to make damn sure who and how I am shooting rather than "disorienting" the perp. A very bright light in the eyes is disorienting enough and gives a solid bright picture of what you are shooting at.

I agree, The strobbing part can distract them yes...but is your objective to distract them and then what? If a threat is there and needs to be neutralized (ie shot, or fired upon) I want to see what i'm shooting, and I want it to be neutralized immediately..I really don't wanna strobe the guy and then figure out whats next...Again, if the BG is already there and threatening you, then you know what to do next..Its put him down ASAP... This is assuming you are talking about Home defense..

Thats where the laser helps.

I want to disorient so I can shoot the BG before he shoots me.

You are missing the point. You can not clearly see and engage your target properly with a bright light strobing and playing tricks on your eyes. The light flashing will also not allow you to see the laser clearly either. Do what you want, but the drawbacks of a strobe greatly out way any benefit it may have, even to the point of being dangerous for the user. It may look cool and sound good on paper but in a situation like that, the last thing you want to compromise is you vision.

Before I actually buy it, I will thoroughly test it.

I appreciate the input you guys gave on this, and what to be cautious of.

Okay, I am persuaded to not get the strobbing light for the weapon.

Where is the best place online to buy the light please?

The GTL-21 looks like it might be up my alley.

Thank you,

The best part of this GTL add on besides the tac light and laser sight options are that its tough. The other add ons i've seen dont seem nearly as durable. You can drop your gun on the ground with the GTL attached and no damage what so ever. It will operate in any weather, and adjust in it as well. If you get it, you won't be dissappointed. Just make sure you clean the lens at the range after each mag is done. The lens can get dirty from gun powder.

There doesn't seem to be a GTL on glockmeister.

I was at the gun store today.

I tested the various lights, including the strobbing.

I took my wife with me into the bathroom there and turned off the light.

I finally went with a light, a strobbing light, and laser combo.

I still like the strobe.

As I said, I saw it demonstrated on "Personal Defense" on the outdoor channel, and that's what turned me on to it.

I got a Streamlight TLR-2.

Thank you all for your advice.
