I'm pretty new to shooting and field stripping. This was the third time I've field stripped the gun (a Springfield XD-9 4" Service Model), and when I reassembled it, I put the recoil spring in backwards. Now the slide is stuck. Is there a quick fix that I can handle myself (having almost no experience with guns) or should I take it to a gunsmith? Any input is appreciated.
