Does anyone here shoot USPSA, open division, in a ten round state? If so do you still get classified against everyone that is using "Big Sticks"?

I've often wondered why we have Limited 10, but no Open 10...

There are only a couple of classifiers in which having more than ten rounds is of any advantage, so capacity shouldn't impact your classification.
I think there's no Open 10 because if it was LIMITED to 10 rounds, it wouldn't be Open, would it? :)

I see your point about the classifiers, but... I think there's no Open 10 because if it was LIMITED to 10 rounds, it wouldn't be Open, would it?
An open gun with 10 round mags still wouldn't be legal in any other class, but open.

I can't understand why there is a Limited 10 and regular Limited, but only one open. It only seems fair that there be an Open 10 as well.

hmmmm... 10 rds in the gun or 30???? I saw Rob leatham whoop Open division with a Singlestack and 8 rds... I guess thats why they call him the great one..

Aside from him, I don't think your gonna be competitive against shooters in your class with bigsticks. I have a STI EAGLE 5.5 open pistol in .45.... I use it for steel or pins, as thats all its good for. probably rebarrel the top end, and build a cool semi longslide iron sighted fungun..

What country are 10-rd states in?

I don't get the point you're trying to make...

The "point" was "grandfathered"; the rest was a mild attempt at humor, as limiting magazine capacity is something best left for other more backward countries to enact.
Or New Jersey.

Or the Republik of Kalifornia... the grandfather clause...... I wouldn't know a thing about that!;)
