I'm new to the forum and thought i would share my new baby. I just started buying/collecting guns recently and came across this gun. So here goes it. I just purchased a 1917 Swedish Mauser 6.5x55 completely original. Stock, buttplate, you name it it all matches bore is almost perfect. A guy on here said I should post my $100 investment to make you jealious so thats what i'm doing. I'll post you some pics this evening. Wait till you see this beauty!!!!!!

my swede is my favorite mil-surp. It's the M41/B. Mine was over $ 1k though :(

I can shoot better groups with it than any other rifle I own. The 6.5x55 is a fantastic caliber too!

I have a model 38 that I really like, use it at the military silhouette matches, great guns.

Hey, rhillen, My son and I shoot at a military silhouette match at Sac Valley Shooting Center. Notice that you are in Sacramento. Is that where you shoot?

We have been using Swiss rifles, but I have shot it once with a Swede.
