Two lizzards we caught this AM just south of Welaka, Fl. on the St. Johns.

#6 and #7 of the season.

Big one is 10' 6" and the smaller one is 8' 10". The big one is longer, but not near as fat as the one last week.

You can see the bang stick going off, twice. We actually hit him once and thought he was done, even taped his mouth. And then he started thrashing about as the first one had not been placed quite right..

Second try was also to far forward and bounced off the skull.......last ( Third ) one did the job.

And yes a gators skull, especially one this big, will bounce a .357 even when placed with a bang stick. Of course the real problem was with me as I placed it wrong.
