end result of this is a smoother trigger.
but as parts vary your results may vary.

this is fairly simple though the pics makes it look easier than it is.
the trigger pin is not fun to take out and put everything back together neither is the sear,sear lever and housing.

caution springs can fly and pins can fall and roll where you cannot find them.

this shouldnt have much effect on guns that suffer from a very crunchy trigger or sproingy trigger ie lots of spring no crisp. it will only be nice once the gun has 500-1000-2000 rounds
more you use the gun better the springs will let up.

if you have a very crunchy trigger either send the gun into S&W or find a smith that can stone the sear and striker clean.

when removing the trigger/locking block pin
push the pin from right to left.
apply tool to right side of pin dont forcefully push it. grab the slide stop and jiggle it same time apply small amount of pressure to the pin with your right hand
when you get the slide stop just right pin will slide free.

reinstall the pin from the left side towards the right.

add grease,oil or paste to contact surfaces.
I usually use light oil but one day tried grease and it was much smoother.

caution do following in well ventilated area
be carefull of open flame. teflon dry lube is flamable

carefull the teflon cools and drys before heating
it can catch fire keep at eye on it blow it out immediately
polish the teflon covered part let cool and apply more
dry lube. reassemble if trigger is too sluggish remove excess teflon.

wolff gunsprings aka gunsprings.com is offering a lighter striker safety spring which may also make the trigger nicer.

this mod is best done on a sigma that has been broken in while the parts are rough and new. otherwise it can make the process and results less than nice. in fact it can be worse if the gun's springs are not broken in and it will take alot more use before the trigger gets nice.
