I want to order a paddle holster and in the drop down menu to select the color, there is a choice for either 1) male paddle or 2) female paddle. What does this mean? I am a male, so do I select the male paddle? Or does male paddle mean something else I am not aware? What is the difference? Is the female paddle just wider to fit a woman better is she has large hips or something?

The male and female paddles are different because men and women are different; it's all in the hips.
But NOT "wider"; different 'drop' and the way the holster portion protrudes from the body.

Male for men......

Although when I was young and skinny I had the most comfortable duty belt ever issued to me. When I went to turn it in I looked at it and it said Lady Brown on it. Female holsters cant out at the top typically, so that the grip does not poke them in the ribs too hard. Others may ride lower.

WESHOOT2, man or mouse? (never say "wider" around the women)

Its best to call the holster manufacture.
