I was at a local Habror Freight store the other day and they had plain, red and black earmuff type hearing protectors for $1.99 a pair! These aren't Peltors or anything like that but they do a good job of saving your hearing and they are cheap enough that you could give them away at the range and not get hurt to badly. I gave away 3 pair just yesterday to some fellows that didn't have any hearing protection and they promised that they would go buy a few pair and give they to some body else. I don't know if they will or not but it is a good gesture. :)
